Beautiful Scars
While shopping, Peter discovers a dilapidated Santa Claus figurine on the closeout shelf. He is, as Peter describes "as a gargoyle, ugly, ugliness far keeping up." He wonders who would buy such a case, a three dollars , no less? Elderly couple (Helen and Charlie) Santa arrives and places the cart. Peter notices a scar on the face of women long before the burn. Curious, he asked them why they would buy such an ugly item.
They are a response to Santa's beautiful and has character. Peter counters that Santa condition is broken, busted and worthless. "I do not think that because of the scars is not useful?" says Helen.
A couple recounts their meeting last forty years. Helen, a recent college members, participated in a burn accident. The contempt of public appearances, finally ventured into the park to feed ducks. There he met a nineteen-year-old Charlie. His leg was injured in the Second World War, and his relaxed living reminder of his accident. Helen and Charlie found the love when they both felt was not sympathetic.
Peter pauses, thinking about my own life, and the harmful, damaging things he did that he was not proud. He realizes that Helen is wearing her scars on the outside and its been there. "But there is a God who still loves me, who has sent his Son to die for me, very. Little rotten, scarred me ."
Eugene Turner Happiness
On the way home, Peter stopped for gas at the local mini mart. He remembers working there five years ago, before he engaged in the factory. He enjoyed the work on informality and intimacy. There he sees a Hummer with Eugene Turner for sale sign in the window.
I remember the days when Eugen buy lottery tickets two weeks on a 7-jedanaest. Man, Eugene at the end of the match five of the six winning lottery numbers. He was awarded almost half a million dollars.

Large backyard show
Peter returns home to Sarah and Josh was asking to play outside. He does not like cold and snow, but he remembers his earlier promise to join their children in the open, once home to.
Sara makes snow angels, and Josh is also bogged down with clothes to try. Peter helps his children to explore their yard, front and rear, so that pulling on the plastic sled. Icicles on a tool shed, bird feeder and streams are among the children's amazement.
Peter recognizes the gift he has given to see the world through the eyes of children. He also admits that the hectic days when it was not compliant with their children. "But rarely have those moments come when I was able to look into their hearts and know who they really were ."
